St. Bruno Children's Community Foundation Story

Co Founder Taylor Bredehoft Visit to St. Bruno

On September 9th 2025, the Founder, Taylor Bredehoft, traveled to Mbarara, Uganda, to visit St. Bruno Children’s Community Foundation.  She waited six years for her dream to come t rue tomeet her ministry partner Collin’s again, his family and the children at St. Bruno Children's Community Foundation. It was a joy to her heart to meet the children she cared for while living in the United States. This trip brought her heart a delight to be able to see the fruit of the projects they fundraised for the past years and the impact they have had on the community in Nyakasa, Mbarara village.

Collins was very excited to see his sister in Christ from the United States who helped his dream come to life by helping the children and families in his community make steps forward to break generational poverty. We started getting the girls bikes to ride to school so they were able to travel to and from school safer. Next, we focused on getting many children in poverty into school for a year and provided back packs, shoes and school supplies. Later, we were able to get new toilets for children and partnered with water step organization to get clean water for his community. God connected Taylor Bredehoft with the founder of ROWAN organization in Uganda, named Kelsey Hargadine. She gave Collins and Taylor the steps they needed to take to be able to get St. Bruno's Children Community Foundation approved as Non-profit Organization in Uganda. She connected Collin’s with Kelsey’s ministry partner of their organization and Pastor Paul gave Collins much wisdom and guidance for the mission (vision) ahead. Taylor is thankful for Meri taking over St. Bruno Children’s Community foundation to keep the God’s vision alive under Yetsena Organization.

Collin’s and His wife and children took very good care of Taylor and Fred while they visited
them. Taylor Bredehoft enjoyed learning how to cook local food with Collin’s and seeing his
house. Collin’s children were happy to see Aunt Taylor. The children of St. Bruno were eager to meet Taylor and to hear her teach them a Bible lesson from a book called Here I Am the One You Love by Stephanie Schureman. She plans to visit St. Bruno Children’s Community
Foundation Organization again in the near future.

Last Reformation Uganda

Fred and I also met Tadeo with the movement called: The Last Reformation Uganda Ministry. The founder, Torben Sondergaard, started this movement in 2011. We believe that The Last Reformation is a reformation about the true gospel and the simple disciple life, but also a reformation in the church. This movement believes every disciple who believes in Jesus Christ is coming back to living out the book of Acts. Fred and I have plans to join this team to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Last Reformation Uganda is a grassroots ministry dedicated to spiritual renewal and community transformation across the pearl of Africa. Through our partnership, we plan join local outreaches with the Last Reformation Ministry in the future.  Together, we are committed to empowering local leaders and bringing a message of hope and reformation to every village we serve, ensuring that the fruit of our labor leaves a lasting impact on generations to come.
